Patty
Fleming:
Studio Owner and Director
( Salmon Arm and Revelstoke).
Owner
and
principle instructor, Patty Fleming, brings our studio its
incredible
energy and focus! She has trained in Chechetti
Ballet, C.D.T.A.
and Al Gilbert Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and Modern Dance
and was teaching for her studio by the
age of fourteen. Patty
continued her studies in Dance
at Brigham
Young University, Idaho and completed the "Dance West" program at Utah
State
University. She has been teaching Jazz, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Hip Hop,
Musical Theater and Conditioning for the last 24 years. Her
students have the unique opportunity to learn a discipline, love the
learning, and build self esteem and life long friendships!

Sonja
Barton Woods:
Director of Ballet
(Salmon Arm)
Mrs.
Barton Woods is a Nationally recognized arts educator. As a
professional student, Mrs. Barton
Woods trained
with both the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and the International Ballet of
London, England.
She has continued her personal education through
annual studies with
examiners from the Royal Academy of Dance, London
England, and
frequently attended courses at the Banff School of Fine Arts. A fully
registered R.A.D.
Instructor, she has taught
both the dance student, as well as the dance instructor.

Kali
Gawley:
(Salmon
Arm)
Kali
recently attained her Bachelor's Degree in Dance, with a minor in
Child Development. She studied dance at BYU- Idaho and BYU-Hawaii,
where she trained in Contemporary, Hula, and Polynesian Dance.
Kali is highly trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical
Theatre, Modern, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. She recently extended
her training to Ballroom and World Dance! She has toured on the
BYU- Idaho's Dance Alliance company twice, and was the assistant
director of the company in the winter of 2011. Kali has also been
an adjudicator for the Idaho state dance competition. With her
high energy and hard work, Kali is a great member of our staff.

Lindsay
Piggott:
(Salmon Arm)
Lindsay
Piggott was trained in Edmonton's highly competitive " Shelley" Dance
Studio". Her talent drew her
to many competitions throughout British Columbia and Alberta where
her successes prompted
invitations to train and compete both Tokyo and
Scotland. In
1997, Lindsay moved to Salmon Arm and began teaching for Just for
Kicks Studio. Her attention to detail and impeccable technique has helped encourage our students to reach a higher level of technicallity in Jazz, Tap,
Lyrical, Modern, and R.A.D. Ballet. Lindsey is currently
certifyingfor her Royal Academy of Dance certification. Lindsey
has won a special place in the
hearts of our students.

Delaina
Larson:
( Salmon Arm and Revelstoke)
Delaina
began her dance training at Just
for
Kicks Studio when she was the four years old! Her talents
consistently won her awards at competitions in both Jazz and Tap. She apprenticed
as an instructor for seven years before joining our staff as
a full time instructor in 2008.
Her excellent work ethic, and dedication to all
aspects of dance, have made her the obvious choice to complete the
Revelstoke team, and her ever-present smile, has made her a
studio favourite!

Deana
Slack:
(Salmon Arm)
Deana comes to us from Vancouver where she began her training at the
age of six. She studied R.A.D. ballet and completed the
intermediate examination. Deana began teaching at the age of fifteen.
She owned and operated her own studio from1998-2000, when she was
accepted into the touring showband "Sixties Mania" .
Deana is very excited to return to teaching and to share her
love of dance with the students at Just for Kicks.

Every
year Patty chooses a select few of her intermediate
and senior students to apprentice
under the regular staff. These students are
chosen for:
- Their
abilities to teach
various genres of dance and their capability to relate to our
students.
- Their
enthusiasm, focus,
and their reliability.
- Their
ability to show
everyone exactly what "Just for Kicks" is all
about!
